Use your Cascadia ID Card to check out items
- If the academic quarter of enrollment has already begun, your library account should be automatically activated 1-2 business days after you enroll
- If the academic quarter of enrollment has not yet begun, your library account may not activate until about 1 week prior to the quarter
- Your library account expires two weeks into the second consecutive quarter in which you are not enrolled. Contact Library Account Services if you have questions about your specific expiration date.

- Set up your NetID and use it to log in
- You should regularly check your online account, as you are responsible for all items checked out to it and fines will accrue on overdue items.
- Most UW-owned materials can be renewed indefinitely unless/until they are requested by someone else or the account expires
